Regarding the administrative duties of the Lao Bar Association, Attorney Moua Thao has performed the following:
1. From 2011 to 2012, the lawyer in charge of legal aid work (responsible for providing advice to people for a fee) funded by an international project.
2. From 2013 to 2015, the head of the Lao Bar Association Office in Region 6 in Xiengkhouang Province, and was also responsible for the head of legal aid for lawyers in Xiengkhouang Province.
3. From 2016 to 2017, the deputy head of the Lao Bar Association Office in Central Vientiane Province.
4. From 2018 to 2025, the head of the Public Relations Office in Xiengkhouang Province.
II. Legal professional activities
1. North:
1.1. Bokeo Province assisted people in 2 criminal cases;
1.2. Luang Namtha Province assisted people in 4 cases, 1 civil case
1.3. Oudomxay Province assisted people in 4 cases, 1 civil case
1.4. Xayaboury Province assisted people in 1 criminal case (by duty)
1.5. Luang Prabang Province assisted people in 2 criminal cases
1.6. Xiengkhouang Province assisted people in 17 criminal cases, 6 by duty
1.7. Houaphan Province assisted people in 18 cases, 2 by duty
1.8. Xaysomboun Province assisted people in 6 land cases
2. Central Province
2.1. Vientiane Capital: 32 cases, including 7 criminal cases, the rest are company
cases.
2.2. Bolikhamxay Province has acted to help people in 6 cases, all criminal cases
2.3. Vientiane Province has acted to help people in 16 cases, 1 family case, 2 land
cases
- As a consultant to the Lao People's Democratic Republic (BOI) and 16 branches of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
- From 2016 to 2025, as a consultant to the Kapor Legal and Investment Consultant Company Limited
3. Southern Province
3.1. Champasak Province 2 cases are criminal cases
In addition to the above, we have also contributed to legal knowledge together with the government, providing assistance to the public via telephone, providing information and drafting legal documents, both civil and criminal, to the public free of charge, in many cases.
